Shaping the O

quote:

Cameron likes what he has at LSU. He said incumbent starting quarterback Zach Mettenberger is adjusting well to the offense, and the coach who devised a myriad of ways to get LaDainian Tomlinson the ball in San Diego relishes the prospect of finding open space for backs Jeremy Hill and Alfred Blue. "Good backs like this," Cameron said, "test your imagination."

This is a really good article. Coach Cam was a slam dunk hire.

When, as an LSU fan, have you been more excited about the offense than the defense? Expectations are definitely high right now.

I wish I could see the spring game. I realize that they will be much more vanilla than they will be in September, but it will still be exciting to see SOME of the changes.

One of the better articles I have read in a while. Cameron has been around some extraordinary people in his day.

If I am reading into this correctly, Cam plans to use the RBs to force either:
a. LB coverage on a RB, or
b. Single coverage on the edges...

We really missed that type of approach the last few years. Add in some TE involvement and this O could be 07'ish.

Yeah. He played for Bobby Knight and Lee Corso while at Indiana. We better get some damn ESPN love this year.

Thats right, he's still the HC here. BTW he's the one that hired Cam.
But dont tell anyone. Lets keep the media and college football fans thinking we win despite him.
Chavis and now Cam, we really need to change HC's soon before people finally figure all this out.
