Mel Kiper was just asked who his under the radar pick was for this years draft.

He stated Lavar Edwards. Said whoever picks him in the 3rd or 4th round is getting a heck of a ball player.

He was the best DE at LSU this past year imo.

Dude was is a beast and highly underrated. He lost a lot of credit because of his similar number to Montgomery too! I remember several times he would make a huge play, but the announcers would call him Sam.

I love players like Lavar Edwards and Ron Brooks. Players who would have likely been starters for most other LSU teams. They are "team first", selfless players, never complain. You have to love guys like that & wish them the very best . I certainly do.

Does anyone remember the last time a college team had 3 DEs picked in the same draft? Or has it ever happened?

The next Perry Riley. Riley is a quality starter for the Redskins and underrated at LSU with Sheppard getting more of the hype.

I loved Perry Riley at LSU and I love seeing him start for the Skins. Sheppard is also starting for the Bills and I think he had around 130 tackles last year or the year prior.

But on subject, loved Edwards coming in to spell Sam and Brooks and they were both dominant at their positions. Can't wait for the draft.
