Are we keeping the home games as loud as they have been in years' past?

I think my #1 thing about LSU is we have college's loudest, most intense and potentially drunk fans in the country. I wasn't able to make a home game so this is a legitimate question. Made it to chicken bowl this year and was a little disappointed in the crowd.

Scale of 1 to 10: 1 being western kentucky '11, 10 being earthquake game.. rate last year's crowd

When Jarvis caught the TD against Bama, 11. When Yeldon scored the TD, 4th floor of Middleton library.

I only made one game last year and it was the SC game, which I would rate as 8/10. Maybe 8.5. Just for reference a 10 for me would be UF and Auburn 07.

South Carolina was 9.5.
Alabama was 10.
The rest were 7.5

As soon as he ran that route, I knew what was going to happen. That place got so loud, it almost made my heart stop.

Florida '11 was REALLY loud on Florida's first possession. You could feel the hate raining down on them.

SC was the only one I went to. Overall a 9. When we finally scored the last minute TD I'd say an 11. The place went ape shite.

I hope LSU maintains that reputation for a good minute. Some people call it classless. I call it culture.

Guaranteed i'll be making UF '13. We need offensive redemption.

Specific individual games of importance ARE just as loud as any in Tiger Stadium history, (USCe and Bama this past season) but overall the crowd is not as loud from opening kickoff to ending, from game to game during the season. Not even close.

LSUAD has priced out too many die hard fans and replaced them with wine and cheese crowd newbies (Cheesers as I call them) whom could really care less about LSU football.

The stadium was fairly dead for the State game, given it was the week after the Alabama game

What was up with everyone leaving in the 4th Quarter of the State game? The stadium was half full.

The most painfully true statement i've ever read.

Outside of Alabama, the Tiger Stadium crowds were pathetic last season. Most our so-called fans seem incapable of arriving before kickoff and making some form of supportive noise until the game ends.
