I just saw on 247 that East Feliciana RB Kameron McKnight is no longer in the 2015 class, but in 2014. What is the situation there, and what do you guys think about LSU pursuing?

it seems like if there is a big rb or big ath in hs they always move him to defense. I would like to see that trend stop and see what these big guys can do in college. An example would be derrick henry although he plays for bama i want to see what he can do as a 6"3" 240lbs running back

agreed, but youve got to look at the numbers here...stacked running back class and biggest and best athletes almost always end up on defense

From Sonny...(Not premium info either, no worries)
A couple of notes on Kameron McKnight to give you some background.

He would have been a Top 10 prospect in Louisiana for 2015 but due to his age he wouldn't have been able to play his senior year. He looks great physically and can do a lot of things on both sides of the ball.

It will be interesting to see how this shapes up going forward with LSU because had he been a 2015 guy he would have been a no-brainer offer in my opinion, provided the academics checked out.

Here is some video from the 2012 season that showcases his skills....

Also from Sonny:
He will be 19 before September of 2014 so that's why he is too old to play and had to be reclassifed. I am pushing for a 4*, at least a 90, and leaning to 91 right now.

So weird that you noticed that considering Sonny did an article earlier today on the kid. Very strange.

This is a guy that you take and figure out where to put him later, whether it be RB or WR. I think he's the 3rd best RB behind Fournette obviously and Darrell. Not to mention someone like Racean Thomas as a possibility with Bama cooling on him and our Oxford connection in Kwon, or Devon Thomas in Oklahoma who is originally from Louisiana

WR gets a little iffy since we have the 3 in-staters (Dupre, Noil, Quinn), Upchurch already in, D'haquille possibly if things work out and you have Cameron Sims way out there also as a possibility

I didn't see that earlier. I never claimed I came up with the info. I said I got on 247, and there it was.
But since You want to beat me up over it, yes I saw the tweet by shea, then article by sonny.

On another note,
Darrel Williams, Stanley Williams (from GA), Racean Thomas (from AL), Devon Thomas (from OK), Kameron McKnight, and Sione Palelei seem to be the most likely candidates other than Fournette...unless I missed someone. What you guys think out of these?
I wonder if Kwon is working on Racean..

No way we take 3 RBs in this class unless it's 3 big name guys. Numbers are getting tight as is
