Great Weekend for LSU - #1 ranked Men's baseball takes 2 out of 3 from Arkansas on the road, Women's softball takes 2 out of 3 from A&M on the road, including an 8 run rule today (10-2) - gotta love the old Southwest Conference teams now in the SEC. Next, LSU alumni David Toms shoots the low final round at the Master's today (67 (-5)) and finishes tied for 13th and helps me finish in the top 3 (I think) for the 2nd consecutive year in my Master's pool. To top it off, I caught 15 bass this morning in about 2 hours, although nothing big. Great Sunday in the Palmer house in Waco.

So it was a great weekend for LSU and you happened to mention to two other things that happened to you not related to LSU? CSB.

You ever go out to Lake Whitney? My next-door neighbor growing up is at Baylor and when I visited him we went out there. Not a bad area, not goin to lie.

What's that really nice golf club around there?

Doesn't take much fishing know how to pull em out of a private tank.

Doesn't take much class to feel the need to say something like this.

*insert front and rear for greater dumas effect.

Title said LSU fans. I'm sure his family are LSU fans.

Does LSU win EVERYTHING, as your name would imply?

Lake Whitney is a good lake, but never been. I typically fish Big Lake in Lake Charles (more of a saltwater fisherman than a fresh water). Ridgewood CC is the great golf course in Waco. Best bent grass greens in Texas.

I was impressed with the amount of students the A&M softball team had at their game. Have not seen that at LSU.

Only 1 of these things has anything to do with Texas.

Obviously, you haven't live in Texas very long or you are very young. Arkansas was in the old Southwest Conference when I moved to Texas in 1985 and A&M was in the old Southwest Conference as well. Sorry you didn't make that connection. Also, my Master's Pool was run by some SMU guys, so it had a Texas connection as well. Anytime we beat A&M and Arkansas, it is great to live in Texas.
