Anthony and Ego need to step up or it will be a long season....so far...they are getting their collective asses handed to them.

Just another example of a typical rant douchebag not keeping his mouth shut.

Tell some more Coach Haley, how have they been doing in practice and how can they improve?

Johnson is on track to have a monster season and secure a very high spot in the draft.

Ego has been a little bit of a disappointment so far but it wouldn't be shocking at all for him to blossom late and become a star. He is in danger of getting passed up as it stands though.

You really have no clue what you're saying. Both Ego and Freak are performing at a high level and Chavis and Miles have both said so..they are both on track for big years. There is ZERO chance Ego gets passed up.

Ego looked great in that off v def drill. Was clearly being a leader and tossed the off linemen out of his way and blew up the running back.

I guess it doesn't matter that Rasco, Mills & Martin were out. The offense has 8 returing starters, while the defense only has 4. Then you throw in the fact that 3 of your projected starters weren't playing, of course the offense is gonna be way ahead of the D right now.

We have a lack of numbers on D this spring and the staff is expecting some of the true freshmen to come in and compete for PT in the fall. Freak and Ego will be fine. Need to find a couple of quality backups behind them...Lacouture, Q. Thomas, Bain & Gilmore will have to step up. At DE, need to get everyone healthy , then see what Herron, Bower, Beckwith, Neal & Patterson bring to the table. JMO.

Lacouture did okay...it is a difficult position (in this league) to expect a kid right out of high school to step into the middle of the defensive line and make an impact. Dorsey, McFarland, Williams, Nevis didn't do it...Bain won't...Gilmore may have to. The problem is that Logan should have stayed. That would have bought one more year for the youngsters. Mickey Johnson and Q Thomas have been not been impressive and will get recruited over. Even Freak has a long way to go. Logan will be the hardest to replace of all the guys who left early.

I hope the Freak lives up to his potential. With some conditioning and playing time he could have one of the best seasons ever for a D lineman. Can you say "Chad Lavalais"?

going to the scrimmage doesn't mean much...last year one person would say player A sucked and another would say he looked great. Few can take their "bias" glasses off when they watch a game/scrimmage.
