Good for him. I guess since he didn't have an LSU offer, he wanted out of the sec.

I like hearing it. He's a good player, and he made the right decision to commit to a top tier school instead of playing a 10-month waiting game with LSU.

I wish we'd take him. I hope he comes to camp and earns an offer.

We only have so many db's we can take and we have ALOT interested in us. Can't offer everyone and I'm glad to see him go to a good program.

He's a good player but this is one of the most stacked years ever for dbs in Texas. I know not really many of them want to go to Texas anymore but still. Texas is no longer Texas. Mack is pretty much done. He's incapable of turning that around. It's his last year.
Posted on 4/12/13 at 7:42 pm to 504 SOULJA
So is Mack gonna accept his commitment like he didn't do for the other Aug guy?

Time have certainly changed since Mack was QB coach at LSU in 1982. He personally helped Alan Risher improve his skills and we went 8-3 much improved over previous year 3-7-1. Yeah that is not a misprint. We suffered through some tuff years as Tiger fans. Makes me chuckle when we loose a couple of games and we think the season is ruined.

Mack is probably done after this season but I think we'll still have a great DB class. We should get five or six guys and even without Brown and Paris it'll probably look something like:
Jermaine Roberts
Jamal Adams
Darrion Johnson
Nick Watkins
Arrion Springs
John Bonney/Edwin Freeman/Mattrell McGraw
