Depends on who all throws tonight. Maybe Newman?

It will rain out which is best with Ark series on tap

He already said McCune for 3 tonight followed by Bonvillain for 3

My guess is all backups will play in Wed game at Box with Newman, Fury, LaMarche, Devall etc all getting some work in.

If Sewald is ever going to pitch this season, it will have to be Wednesday against Southern.

I wouldn't want to see his RS burned for that game, unless they plan to use him going forward.

What's the deal with Taylor Butler?

What is the issue with Sewald? Why hasn't he pitched any this year?

Redshirt, that term is no longer necessary with fall cuts every year and 35 man rosters.
If you don't play as a true fr you might as well start looking to your exit strategy for when all the new recruits show up.

If a college baseball player has any talent at all, red shirting is a non-issue.

The same can be said in any sport. But a RS year can still be very helpful to a kid regardless of the sport.

In this specific case though, I think coming back next year as a RS Frosh > throwing 3 innings in a mid week game and losing an entire year.
