What are the pros and cons of picking up spring football after spring break?

Every year, I have wondered if this is a positive, a negative or a big factor one way or another.
Apologies for not asking this earlier in the week, but what are your thoughts on this? Does this hurt good momentum established--does it help or harm conditioning. Is it a good idea to relax for a week or do the really dedicated athletes keep up a good workout schedule. What are the thoughts of the Ranters.

Honestly if it was me I'd wanna get it all done before break but I'm sure it's no big deal either way.

Probably dealing with scrotal exhaustion is the biggest thing.

Coaches like it because it means they can have tougher practices because their is a break in between.
The players don't really seem to mind too much. They get their break either way.

The players hate it. You lose focus and that 3rd week is like starting over again.

Well this year I think it is a good thing. They were introduced to the new offense and now have an extra week to absorb and possible study and then they could go back into spring practice and go more in-depth into the new offense. Just my thoughts fwiw.

That first day back sweating all the alcohol out of your system must be tough.
