Happy Endings on Fridays now?

I was worried they had cut the cord on this show. I see on the DVR it's set to record two new shows tonight. I'm guessing this is the new time slot. Anyone hear about the future? Would really hate if this show got cancelled. One of my favorites

Looks like its a goner, ABC was even trying to force fans to petition for its renewal. This season has not been as good as 1 & 2, but I will miss it.

They had 2 last friday. Great episodes.. I hope USA picks it up. ABC definitely fricked up by moving it from behind modern family.

Sitcoms have had a tough time since the Glory Days of TGIF. If the Execs moved it to Friday they are just burning episodes until the end.

When they finished filming at Paramount Studios in Hollywood, they boxed everything up on the three sound stages on which it is filmed and didn't return any of the props or set dressing, so the production company seems to think that the show has a very good chance of coming back.
The problem with Happy Endings is that it is on ABC. Disney controls everything aired on ABC and Happy Endings is too bawdy for Disney's tastes. ABC will not let them get away with anything.
The reason the first two seasons were better than the third is that the censors at ABC finally began using Urban Dictionary and have severely clamped down on what they will allow to be said on the show.
The best thing that could happen to Happy Endings would be for another network to buy it from ABC.

It's a funny show, for sure. But the characters are annoying as shite and that turns a lot of people off.
BTW, the characters are written to be annoying as shite, so they're pulling off what they want to do, it's just not going to appeal to everyone.

Is that why Arrested Development got axed? The show is hilarious, but good god the characters are insufferable.

wow just wow.
This show is hilarious and has gotten alot better the last few eps. Definitely agree that another network should buy this show. TBS might be a good candidate since they bought Cougar Town too, a very underrated show.
Anyone have numbers on how well Cougar Town has done since moving to TBS??

I will say I haven't watched the recent few episodes. They are on the DVR
