Took a quick walk on lunch and snapped a few pictures of some of the construction.

Looks like the new gates in front of the Weight Room and Student Entrance are going to be great.

Looks like shite. You'd never be able to see the game sitting that low.

As others have said the gates just dont match the stadium to me. It doesnt look awful or anything, i think im just a little luke warm on them.

It matches the north side even less than the west side.

Are the cranes going to be used as monuments when they're done?

Appreciate the pictures of chain linked fences and piles of dirt.

It'll be interesting to see how far along they are once this season starts.

They should have a good bit completed. In one of the pictures, you can see part of the first set of columns that have been put up. As long as the summer rains can hold off for a while, should move pretty quickly.

Patience...it will all come together and look great. Do you really think they don't have a plan to mesh all of the projects together to look great? Seriously?

I am with you in the fact that we want it to all blend together, new and old. But I trust they have the issues all mapped out with the looks.

Except for the damn PVC pipe!

Yeah. Every time a hole is dug someone wants to post pics. I remember the first threads, "look a CRANE!"

The Gates don't have to match anything, they're there just so somebody will donate enough money to have them named after someone. Im thinking this gate will be named the Scotty from Olinde's Gate.

It looks like they're saving some trees. That's good...provide some shade and greenery amidst the concrete.
