i seriously hope he was just a holdover. I'm not familiar with the predecessors but one has to be better. david sounds like a retard at times. especially during postgame.

I'd rather two Jen Hales if you get my drift.

He was a new hire, Bob and Gil were the old team and they didn't get held over. On top of Wesley's issues he and Joel Meyers don't get along very well on air and if I have to choose between one of them Joel Meyers sticks around every time.

Actually people at lunch yesterday were saying they thought he had really improved. I'm no "knighting" for the guy. Just thought it was interesting.

like Rivers, he has improved from total shite to shite. so i'm willing to give him another year, so long as he improves from shite to average.

He needs to move away from "I know everything" to just being a color analyst. He also needs to become more enthusiastic about the team. I mean, it's a part of his job regardless of what's going down on the court.

Yeah, I do appreciate Joel toeing the party line. I know some people disagree with me, but your announcers should be homers to an extent.

I prefer the term bro-champing. I've been accused of bro-champing for Gravy.

I do think he has gotten better. He doesn't argue for calls to go against us as much as he was at the beginning of the year, which was my biggest gripe.

joel myers is the shite. he was great in L.A. why in the hell did they not want him back?! i was a lil gitty when i found out he was gonna be our caller. great guy and one of the best voices for the job. i think management should let joel have much input on the next guy in. looking at his resume on wiki, he seems to know a lot of folks in different areas.

Wesley has to go. Meyer is fantastic. Wesley comes across as a know it all who really does not know much. He is terrible.

The Lakers switched from Fox Sports to another network who presumably had their own talent in place already.

Joel has embraced the homer role with arms wide open, and I'm good with that.

Wesley, to me, comes across as a ball player first, and an announcer second. He brings that "player perspective" to the game to a fault sometimes.

So, they basically did the opposite of what we did. Win for us.

When John DeShazier stood in for him that game, it really showed how bad Wesley is. I've been defending him since this is his first time doing this sort of thing...hopefully he improves.
