Has anyone ever tried this, looks like fun, but would be expensive though. LINK

They make bumpfire stocks. I don't really see the point in them since you're just wasting ammo but they're kinda cool I guess.

My FIL has one on his AR. Its fun but pointless. However, he has more money than sense so its fun for me.

Ammo would be expensive based on today's market rates, dude.

I have the slide fire SSAR-15 on my S&W M&P 15-22. It will put a big smile on your face when shooting it.

We have trouble with his from time to time. It will shoot a string of 4-5 and then it will stovepipe a case. I have not had a chance to put it on one of mine but I am sure it is a gun problem. Could this be a head spacing problem? The gun shoots 100% semi auto and is very accurate (DD complete V4 upper). Any other ideas?

Try some TW25B lube on the buffer tube slide.

Is it a 22lr or a .223?

With the 22lr there not a lot of recoil. so you have to hold back on trigger and push forward a little with your hand on the guard rail.

It is currently on a .223
I will try it on a 300 BLK and my .223 uppers next time that I can. It is a ST lower with a single stage trigger so that should not be the problem either.

Sometimes it will run a pretty good string before jamming, other times its 3-4 rounds and a stovepipe.

Hogdaddy,

I purchased a S&W with that in mind but didn't have the money for it and frankly still dont. Anywhos, did you have to change out the trigger or did it work with factory trigger. Gun store was telling me that you did but was not positive on that. Thanks

You do need a trigger job.

What I did was I bought a JPS 3.5 spring kit.
Brownells

Look up M&P 15-22 trigger job on YouTube .

Any legal ramifications go along with this? Ban rubber bands?

All you did was the springs or did you get a trigger as well?

All you have to do is change the springs and polish a few parts.

Sorry forgot to post the second video about polishing the trigger.

That can't be real.

I think the guy is trolling with a full auto AR. I think he just put the rubber band on it to make a funny video...

That guy has an electronic trigger pull guage, and steel punches but hes using a roll of tape as a bench block, no vice and store bought compounds not meant for polishing gun metal. Great gunsmith.

Guys do yourselves a favor and take your triggers to a real smith before you end up shooting your dicks off and trying to sue bushmaster.

Thanks, at least that part is inexpensive. I had seen a combo pack that the trigger was 100+. Now I just need the stock and some mags. Any insight on where to get mags without getting raped? and .22s
