With that, this'll be a very small class. I think we'll take one forward, one SG, and one wing.

Ideal: Exum, Oubre, and Victor

That's assuming that only JOB leaves. There could be more attrition as well. I can't see us getting Victor without Martin staying one more year though.

I think by adding the assistant coach from UCLA we get Victor.
But my ideal class and this is just being greedy...
PG/SG Exum
PF Craig Victor
SF/PF Leron Black
SF/SG Jalen Lindsey

You expect Martin to go or someone to transfer?

I cant say now too early, but I for one hope Martin has a good enough season where he has to go pro. Lindsey and Black want to play together, and LSU is one of only like 3 schools to still be in on both. I strongly believe Exum could go pro, and he may commit but never make it to campus. I do not know JOB's academic situation so I cant say how close he is to graduating. I honestly for the first time in a long time dont see anybody on the roster that could be asked to look elsewhere, people say Hammink but he is 6'7 with decent perimeter skills and was only a freshmen and came from overseas.

Word is if all goes well, Martin is likely a one and done player. I'm hoping what I'm hearing isn't true, that's the vibe coming from some people that are close to him.

If Victor commits to LSU, I would love to see them play together.

I wasn't even considering any of the current guys going somewhere. Most that are question marks are young and can prove a lot this season.

It'll depend on how well he does this year, but I think a guy who hasn't been playing basketball for very long could use as much coaching as possible for cashing the NBA check.

I would be absolutely thrilled with a class of Exum, Oubre, and Victor.

Same. It would be quite a pull for Coach Jones. 1/3 would still be good.

Looking into him, he's a real unknown prospect that is really starting to blow up. Offers from LSU, NC State, and Arizona. Kentucky and UNC are supposed to be interested as well.

Likely candidate to get pushed up in rankings.

I'd imagine it's hard sometimes to scout Canadian players

He's been at a US school for a year now I believe. A military school in Wisconsin, iirc.

But yes, he hasn't gotten much attention because he's Canadian (much like Hammink didn't exposure because he was a foreign player).

Exum is really starting to look like a pipe dream. Tom Crean is making him a priority in this class and from everything I'm seeing they are way out in front for his signature.

Not at all trying to be a smartass or confrontational. But I think LSU is still in it and we are in his Top 3. Last couple of years if somebody says we are recruiting a guy one of the big boys is after I say no chance, but we were one of the first teams to offer and have connections for years. And as somebody else alluded to it could all depend on the type of season LSU has or is having, who leaves, who other schools sign or go after.

He's projected as a top ten pick. Even if he does re-classify, it will be tough to pry him away from Indiana.

While I think there is hope for us to land Exum, I still believe it's a long-shot. Indiana will be difficult to beat. I think there is a chance with Exum depending on how much noise we make this season.

I'm a little surprised to see him projected as a top ten pick though.
