re: Dr. Ben Carson Hits Back At Vile MSNBC Race Baiter Toure: I’m No Uncle Tom

Needed. An educated populace benefits everyone and everyone needs to pay in. It's fine if you can develop an amazing technology; it's even great. But it'll be nearly useless if you can't find people educated enough to build it and sell it.

Granted, we spend entirely too much on it and see money as a solution, but that doesn't mean that education shouldn't be public and freely accessed. It means that an entirely new approach to education should be devised and implemented.

He specified the FEDERAL Dept of Ed. You know when that was created, right?

quote:

This is your primary cognitive break. Too much isn't spent. Exactly as much as one would expect govt to spend is being spent. Yeah, it's "too much" but this is only a surprise to liberals.

quote:

It means that an entirely new approach to education should be devised and implemented.
Again, a primary problem you have. You don't recognize the problem as one of government, you believe it is one of people or ideas.

History is on my side. This is what government IS. The problem liberals have is a complete refusal to acknowledge or inability to recognize this.

Toure's comments. fricking wow. There is no better indicator of the vile, vitriol, and intolerance of political dissent of the left.

Just Wow!

If there is any doubt who MSNBC works for, then you aren't paying any attention at all...

That was simply unbelievable...

I honestly only watch MSNBC when I want a good laugh...

What is sad is so many actually take them seriously

re: Dr. Ben Carson Hits Back At Vile MSNBC Race Baiter Toure: I’m No Uncle Tom

quote:

I love my friends and parents, but I'm shocked at how many of them dislike black people.

well let's consider why this may be the case? Let's dive into this since you can't believe why so whites think this way. Let's just use some logic and see if they are bad people for thinking this way. (I don't know what environment they live in, but let's assume they have a TV, internet and live in a decent sized city.)

Could it be that when they watch the evening local news, what do they usually see? 78% of the time a young black male picture is shown as a suspect of committing the crime?

Thus the perception of "Black people". Is it hard to believe these suspects did in fact commit these crimes since so many of these young black men have no father and dropped out of school? 5500 black on black murders are committed every year in America.

Until the family dynamic gets corrected among the poor black people in America, the behavioral trends of young black poor people will continue to carry the torch of public perception toward the black community because such a high percentage of our 13% black population do these things over and over.

I would suggest when white people say the N word from time to time or say something derogatory, are basing these feelings or thoughts from what Black people are seen doing in public or the on TV, it's seldom anyone they know personally. It's all about image based on what they see over and over.

I mean when you have black men dropping their pants down below their butt, or blaring rap music with abusive language at a traffic light or in a gas station parking lot, it's not a good image for all black people...

why do all black people get looped in to a negative perception by some white people? Well, they shouldn't, but it's a culture that many blacks accept as "our culture", so human nature is allow these thoughts to cross boundaries that are unfairly portrayed to all black people.

I don't see things getting better, and what I hear all the time is, "when blacks were set free, they had no chance and white man destroyed the family."

So we get 50-60 plus years down the road from civil rights and we have big big problems, it's an epidemic at this point!

I don't see Democrats doing a darn thing about any of this except throw money at the issue and proclaim "Change we need" and "Forward"

How many black people voted for Obama just because we was black? They get a free pass because he is a Democrat as well.

Conservatives try to use reason and logic when addressing big problems.

.... finish school, start a family when you are financially ready and after you are married, much of this public perception crap would go away.

Logic versus emotion.

If you want respect, do things the society expects of you to do not only for yourself but for your children as well.

A very good reason for quiting neurosurgery is not having the hand dexterity that you had at an earlier point in your career. One such case involving a still on duty surgeon resulted in the deaths of his last five/six patients. Carson can still practice in any of his other specialities on his CV and still teach and consult in neurosurgery.

So what happened before a worthless Fed Dept of Ed?

So we need a fed, a state, and than a local layer of oversight for a school district.

There isn't a single thing the Fed DoEd does for public education that is worth while.

Whenever an intelligent thoughtful Black man is a conservative, the liberals bring out all of the racist terms and hurl them at them.
But it's the conservatives that are intolerant.

They tolerate no dissent.

Minorities and women belong to them. They have to be kept in their place.

Toure is one of those blacks that is black when it's convenient. Dee is married to some Indian chick, and lives in one of the whitest areas of NYC.

Amazing how liberals like Toure throw around racism more at black conservatives.

They are correct he should do the league minimum like Odrama 100 days or so in the Senate then crank up your presidential run.

In the article where it talks about Carson's lack of political experience, you could insert Obama's name in the article and come up with the same exact statement.

re: Dr. Ben Carson Hits Back At Vile MSNBC Race Baiter Toure: I’m No Uncle Tom

quote:

But it would be a terrible mistake if Carson ran for president. If he really wants to be a player, the perfect opportunity has opened up for him in his home state of Michigan. Sen. Carl Levin (D) has announced that he will be retiring at the end of his current term, and if Carson were to win that seat, he would emerge as one of the most prominent and intelligent faces of the GOP. He would also gain valuable campaign and political experience that may enable him to make a run at the White House (for real) in 2020 or 2024. (Alternately, if Carson simply wants to become super famous and make a ton of money as an analyst on Fox News, then by all means, run for president. But the country needs smart leaders a hell of a lot more than it needs another talking head.)

Dictating news people said this with a straight face.

I'd rather Carson leave out all the lying and misconceptions that infused the Obama campaign. I'd rather lose with an honest man than to win with a lying pos.
