two way players are common. what he suggested was taking it to another level. a very absurd, ridiculous level.

The Big12 must really stink this year. Only Okie is getting some respect and its not much.

Congrats to Arkansas for their sweep at USCe. Impressive!

I expect LSU to win their next four (Tulane then a series with Missouri). What are the odds of UNC losing a game or two over the next week and LSU jumping them in the polls?

BA hates LSU...tied for most wins and tied for second fewest losses and still just 4...i know it doesn't matter now

UNC's #1 spot is probably untouchable, looking at their schedule they probably won't lose a series.

I can definitely see us jumping Vandy soon enough.

Which is fine by me. We are in great position right now with our RPI and SEC record. One week at a time.

How didnt we jump Vandy in BA? They went 2-2 and we 4-0 sweeping a series in the SEC, regardless that Auburn is 0-6.

well vandy won their series which is all BA claims to care about. Yet it was enough for them to drop below Oregon State so who really knows.

Because Vandy won their weekend series (on the road) and Baseball America usually does not drop teams if they win their series on the weekend.

BA puts very little stock into midweek games. Vandy won their weekend series. But, if it happens a time or 2 more then I could see us jumping them in BA.

ETA: all at the same time

So basically we have to wait for the teams ahead of us to drop an entire series while we are going 4-0 or 4-1/3-1 every week?

essentially but like i said they did just have oregon st jump them despite vandy winning their series.

btw aaron fitt admitted in his chat today he hasnt seen 1 inning of lsu baseball yet this year so there is that. i mean i get the guy cant be everywhere every weekend, just pointing that out.
