What did you think of this movie? I thought it was an interesting idea and a well thought out script. This movie could have, but doesn’t beat you over the head with some really deep ideas and issues and is really pretty cool in retrospect how everything was presented to the viewer.

The trailer at the end of real “robots” in action added to the theory of the low key, yet pretty in depth story line IMO. Really well done and a very enjoyable movie. I do wonder what this movie will be thought of in say 10 or 20 years from now?

I guess in ways this could have gone much deeper, and I’m sure there will be movies made which do in respect to the relationship between robots and us, and of course several have already been made, but it was very entertaining for a comedy drama which deals with several subject matters at once.

Anyone else seen this movie? What were your thoughts?

Maybe I was tired but I turned it off after the museum honchos are on to him and the Robot has become his accomplice.

I don't know, but I started wondering: "why am I watching this?"

So that was a sign. It was a sleepy mild-mannered movie that frankly is not absurd enough to be interesting. The Robot looked like it was from a 1980's Sharper Image catalog.

It has a pretty big twist at the end.

I enjoyed the film.
