this. all of it, the fact is, they should be thanking us for getting to play on the world class pitches that our WCQ's are played on.(not talking weather, just pure quality of pitch)

Gotta take off the white gloves and roll up your sleeves for CONCACAF play

True. I'm glad only the Costa Rican players had to deal with the snow though. If our boys would have been put out in the white coldness, we surely would have lost.

That was a terrible idea to host the game there.

Allowed them to spend their time training at altitude in anticipation of the game in Mexico on Tuesday. The players will at least be acclimated to the thin air, just not the smog from hell that is Mexico City.

If they had wanted to guarantee snow to frick over an opponent they should have played somewhere with lake effect snow, more likely to happen that way.

Exactly. With such a short turnaround, it was probably the best choice of location. And honestly, no one can predict the weather that far in advance. No one could have know the weather would have been that bad.

I don't see anything wrong with that statement.

We´re talking about Costa Rica, not Messico.

Yeah but his statement was along the lines of we have to deal with much worse so they can just suck it up.

it only got worse here in Denver today. If they postponed the match, didn't they have to restart it within a day? I don't know the rule, but if it was within a day, they got it done when they needed to.

As if they don´t?

ETA I reread. He confused the two. I get the gist of what you´re saying, but they´d have to put up with the same as well when visiting, would they not?

I think they are implying that America is hated more than other concacaf nations for either racial or xenophobic reasons. I guess if you agree or not is another story...

Yeah we were in it too so what the hell. If you can protest weather we should be allowed to protest playing in sand box shite fields. You can control one and not the other.

Tweeze, yeah I get it, but Costa Rica is basically an American outpost and probably lobbying to be a protectorate as is Puerto Rico. He mistakenly referred to Messico.
