He's a solid backup QB prospect. Not worth drafting tho. Not this year.

This. Or CJ is telling us to take a good look at him?

A solid backup in a mid level D 1 school. Not in the NFL.

Probably not as a draft prospect. Probably could be used as a camp arm. Maybe a practice squad guy.

blues had a thread about him on hear a day or two ago.

Brian Griffin? I thought the Saints outlawed dogs in the stadium after they got rid of Gumbo?

Looking at these comments, only hyped d1 qb's make great nfl starters

Probably not worth a draft pick, but if he's available as an UDFA...
Don't see this as a favor that CJ would ask for this favor, it's not like he recruited Griffin or anything.
Griffin showed sone promise at times this year. Looked good in whatever senior all-star game it was he played in.

Here's some good info on him:

ETA: CJ must be owed some more favors

@caplannfl: Former Tulane QB Ryan Griffin has visits coming up with the Chargers, Jaguars, and Steelers, according to his agent, Mark Bloom.

Mike Detillier is high on Griffin and said a few weeks ago that he'd be a great late round pick for the Saints.

He was essentially Tulane's team last year. Separated his shoulder (or some shoulder injury) and still broke records. Kid is a baller and would be a good project if he is UDFA. He also got tons of playing time/experience in college.

And last season he used pretty much the same playbook the saints use.
