Per Baltimore news outlet on Rotoworld. I'm mobile right now so I can't post links, but it's on there. I think he's a good fit at the right price.

If I had to
Choose between him, Nhamdi, and Butler, I'd go Him and Nhamdi

Free agent LT Bryant McKinnie told WNST Baltimore that the Saints have shown interest in him.

The Ravens remain in the mix to retain McKinnie, but they have company. The Saints are iffy on injury-prone in-house LT Charles Brown as Jermon Bushrod's possible replacement. McKinnie is going on age 34, but he's the best left tackle still on the free-agent market, and he shouldn't be overly expensive.

Here man I'll help you out.

Him and Butler. No doubt, not even close.

I'd honestly have to go Butler than either Nnamdi or McKinney. Both or great, but I'd rather bring in a guy with potential than a guy at the back end of a career. (Unless it's a Hall of Famer like Darren Sharper)

Agreed. All 3 have question marks, but I feel like Butler has the least question marks about him, fills a higher position of need, and he is also the youngest.

The only question mark Butler doesn't have is age. Never been a full time starter outside of a game or two. Remains to be seen if he can be an everydown backer or is just a speed rush specialist. The other two have proven themselves consistently (minus nnamdi's philly performance).

McKinnie would be a great acquisition for the Saints but don't you think he will want big money?

How much can the Saints spend on this guy?

So why not go McKinnie and Nhamdi and then draft another OLB at 15? I'd much rather address T than OLB in FA if I had to choose

I say we get Jamarcus Russell to play OT. In between snaps he can take bites out of his cheeseburger and look at the defensive line like...

His salary last yr was $3.5 mill. He's older. Can't imagine he can rightfully call for more than that. Pretty sure we can make that work in a 2-3 year deal with a 4-5 mill bonus spread out, and a small base, backloaded with an option to cut... Mickey style

For real. We can still draft LT in the 3-5th and be just fine. Gives time for the player to develop when/if McKinnie plays out the last year or two. (Brown/Bushrod style)

ETA: Still lookin to me like trading back with the Vikes if Austin is there will be the best move so we can scoop up that 2nd rder.

I think his 6'8" sometimes over 400lbs frame will be obvious at the Penthouse Club

He hasn't, been when he's played, he's produced. Plus his lack of starts shouldn't be a real question mark with Ryan's familiarity with him in Dallas.

McKinney wasn't even starting for the Ravens last year until the playoffs because of injuries to their O-line.

I want Nnamdi as much as the next person, but you can't just say minus the last two years like it's a small detail. Was it because of Philly's scheme, or was it because he lost a step? We don't know for sure, and to me, that's a bigger question mark than Butler's lack of starts.
