I love the way the football field is marked with the LSU in geaux font in the EZ's and the eye in the middle..... but what about this

For each End Zone

and

for the center of the field

I wouldn't mind it but it seems like a lot of paint. Is that healthy for grass?

Do you plan on growing some tomatoes there?

It would take some getting used to. The EZ looks a little too detailed for that big of a "logo". I know the eye is pretty detailed but the middle of the field is a lot smaller than the EZ

Good Idea OP.

Not my thing though...so I'll have to pass. I kinda like it the way it is.

i would hate to think how much the cost of parking would go up to cover the additional time to create such ornate endzone art

opulance......i has it

I'm guessing that would be hard as hell for them to do. They'd have to make several gigantic outlines for them to spraypaint around and that would be elaborate. I know it takes them several hours just to do the Tiger eye in the middle, so doing a bigger picture on a bigger scale twice (once in each endzone) would be a grand undertaking.

Granted, it would be pretty badass.

For me, the problem is that the edges of your proposed end zone has so many colors going on that I worry about whether I would be able to see if a player got his foot in-bounds. Might be kind of difficult to discern in 3/10ths of a second from the west upper, where I sit.

Gotcha. Yeah I think it'd look damn good

Here's a spinoff: What if we just had Mike roaming the opponent's endzone (the one they are driving towards). We could put a shock collar on him with those invisible boundaries so he stays in there. Opponents can score if they want, but at the risk of a mild mauling... just spit-balling here.

Id play on NCAA.

Too costly, combined with the fact that our field is the bomb diggity as is, makes a no.

I don't like it. To be honest, I don't really like the current endzones either. I'd rather LSU not completely paint the endzone, just the lettering ala UGA, South Carolina, Auburn, Florida, etc.

Just spread the LSU out a little further and make the lettering bigger.

On a similar note what was on the center of the field back in the 90's... I cannot remember for the lift of me

Not a fan. End zone isn't supposed to be complicated, I prefer just gold or purple or simply grass along the edges.

The more random stuff you start putting in there the more distracting it will be from the game. Football isn't a game where you need entertainment surrounding it, or graphics or anything. A simple game.

Also I really think the Eye is unique and don't need to fix what ain't broke.

I'd like to see how big a shock collar you'd need to keep a tiger from getting away.

If I'm not mistaken it was the state of Louisiana with a star for BR.

while im sure it would look cool, personally i think its a little TOO much for the end zones

if it was for like one game maybe, but i dont think it would look good as a long term thing

The entire endzone is painted already. what's the difference? No doubt would be bad arse. I know someone on here can work some paint shop magic and let us see what it WOULD look like....
