Cmon. Really? I kinda think it's the people getting arrested that cause that.
I mean holeeeee frick. It's not the cop's fault that blacks are committing crimes?
Here's a thought. Maybe it's the blacks being arrested that are painting themselves in a bad light.

If you disagree with the people wanting to cancel the show, you will be called a racist.
That is the country we live in. If you disagree with people, you not only have a different opinion, you are called a racist, bigot, idiot, elitist, etc mongrel with no heart.
I think black guys should do more "staying home raising kids and working" than "thuggin it up getting on 'cops'."
Am I a racist? No, I look at facts. The way to fix it is clear. But as sure as I sit here and type, someone will be along to call me a racist.

Statistically, white idiots are more spread out, whereas black idiots are more centralized.
Due to the nature of the show, why work harder than necessary to meet show's goals?

Well, that and the fact that Cops, for the most part, focuses on city cops where Blacks are a HUGELY disproportionate part of crime.
I just am always amused when people get made about other people noticing ACTUAL events happening.
I mean, it aint like the folks running Cops are having to look for black criminals to put on video.

Here are the crime data that the Times doesn’t want its readers to know: blacks committed 66 percent of all violent crimes in the first half of 2009 (though they were only 55 percent of all stops and only 23 percent of the city’s population). Blacks committed 80 percent of all shootings in the first half of 2009. Together, blacks and Hispanics committed 98 percent of all shootings. Blacks committed nearly 70 percent of all robberies. Whites, by contrast, committed 5 percent of all violent crimes in the first half of 2009, though they are 35 percent of the city’s population (and were 10 percent of all stops). They committed 1.8 percent of all shootings and less than 5 percent of all robberies. The face of violent crime in New York, in other words, like in every other large American city, is almost exclusively black and brown. Any given violent crime is 13 times more likely to be committed by a black than by a white perpetrator—a fact that would have been useful to include in the Times’s lead, which stated that “Blacks and Latinos were nine times as likely as whites to be stopped.” These crime data are not some artifact that the police devise out of their skewed racial mindset. They are what the victims of those crimes—the vast majority of whom are minority themselves—report to the police.

Reality TV in general is pretty much racist, I'm surprised this took so long in coming. Amos n Andy was benign compared to this dose of reality. What is with Bait Car, can't they put the car in some nice upscale white neighborhood or by a white school to catch some white kids.
Game shows like Jeopardy also should be removed, people should watch the Price is Right where there are healthy images and representations.
The first 10 minutes of the local news in NO is also generally detrimental to the image of Black society, more soft news would make us feel better about one another, or they could attack Jindal more.

Black people acting like asses (with a camera pointed at them) paints blacks in a bad light.
I don't care if it is on COPS, or World Star Hip Hop, or YouTube.
I have no answers for improvement. But, "ignore" it certainly isn't going to make it all better

I think this is limited to those who are on the show. Reality paints those in a bad light.
This is not the fault of the show. It's the fault of people who routinely do stupid stuff- regardless of the presence of a camera.
It's a reality show. Are they saying that reality paints blacks in a bad light?
