What kind of contract do you think Andrew Bynum will get next year?

He's had an awful year and he's out the rest of the year with an injury. I didn't want to make this a "should we?" thread. He seems to have a bad attitude, but I'm curious of your thoughts on him going forward.

I think if doctors clear him he probably gets a lot of money, maybe even max money, but on a short term deal, 2 years at the most. You'd have to be nuts to throw a 4 year max at him.

2 yr 20-24mil deal with the second year being a team option.

They'll cut his minutes down to prolong his career.. he'll still get paid.

His injuries would terrify me if I were a GM.

His injuries would scare me too, but sometimes you have to take that risk because he's easily the #2 C in the league when healthy. I can see the Rockets going after him should they miss out on Dwight.

i think the 76ers give him a 2-year offer to maintain his bird's rights. first year will probably be $7-10M and the second year will likely be a team option. supposedly his knees are shot

He won't be allowed to play in back to backers. Lets go get em.

busted knees/injury prone....sounds like a perfect candidate for the Hornets to throw a max contract at.

Before this the latest knee surgeries, I thought maybe we should take a shot. For now, I'll definitely avoid.

You're right. I should've said he's had a tough season because of the injuries. I'm not denying that he's a fantastic player.

He just hasn't played a minute...

...I think we all agree that Bynum is a top center when healthy.

Not worth the risk, imo.
