Friend's son killed a turkey over the weekend and he gave me a good sized breast. What would be the best way to cook it? I'm thinking about cutting it into strips, marinating it and then grilling, but am open to any and all suggestions. TIA

I put this on the F/D Board, but only got one response stating to fry and smother with rice or taters and gravy. Any other suggestions?

I've never cooked wild turkey, but I assume making a roux is a great starting point as always on this board.

maybe the legs, but the breast are quite good if cooked correctly

I usually soak in milk and hot sauce, then fry

I've tried it a couple times. Meh. Its so damn lean to begin with, keeping any moisture is tough. Frying is the way to go.
