Ammunition Prices are Still Rising? (Gratuitious Pic Attached)

I believe it's just 5.56. I loaded up on that caliber last year so I rarely check. All of the others seem to have gone down steadily. I know .40 cal has. I've made 3 seperate orders this week from .39 and .40 cents per round. ( still high IMO for range ammo) but still encouraging.

I just set up a direct link on my favorites and check it throughout the day. That way its one tap only to check. It's sparratic and doesn't last long, but it's there to be had. 5.56/.223 is impossible on gunbot to find under 65cents from my experience.

If you take a look at the 5.56 ammo section and then compare it to the AR magazine section, you'll see the same places that have jacked up PMAG prices have jacked up ammo prices. Cabela's is still selling what they get at the regular price, and I think Academy is also. Surplus Ammo, Ammunition Store and Luckygunner will never get my business because of this.

I think it is part of an expected cycle.

Before, there was very little 5.56 listed, now there is much more (but at a higher price). As availability continues prices should slowly come down.

It is definitely the perfect storm.

When the government says the word "ban", it really doesn't matter what comes after it. When someone says you can't have something because they "said so" doesn't it make you want it 100 times more? The American people want to buy these things before they're intentionally banned and are panic buying ammo to feed the guns they're purchasing.
