I just saw the god awful preview for Scary Movie 5 and saw people laugh at the stupidest, most unoriginal bits I've seen(baby hits head on door, crotch gags, fart jokes, etc). I slap my head when I see this entertains people. It reminds me of when I was forced to see Nacho Libre with a date and she thought it was hysterical laughing non stop. She kept looking at me every time something "funny" happened and I immediately forced a smile to get on her good side. If it's not a girl I like, I will ridicule the hell out of them. I weep for society when grown adults are entertained by things that you should stop laughing at when you enter junior high.

My HS gf made me go see Meet the Spartans. I walked out about 20 minutes in and played at the arcade for the rest of the movie. Should have known then how terrible she would be.

If you like things I don't care for like 30 Rock or The Middle that is fine. While I don't care for it, they still have some smart writing. Fart jokes are not and deserve me being a pretentious dick about it. Also, doing a bad impersonation of famous people is not funny. It baffles me how these films pull $30 million opening weekend.

I agree with that. I don't judge people on what they like unless its something really really bad like Date Movie etc. when it comes to movies.

I don't fake the chuckle but I agree with the rest. Same reason I don't jump in and bash people in the Big Bang Theory, Practical Joker, etc.. threads. To me, those shows are terrible but good for them if it makes them laugh.

The same way I react when people I actually like post stupid shite on facebook. Something else about them I must choose to overlook.
