Saw that a couple of people didn't care for it. I really liked it a lot. It did seem like they were giving the ending away the entire movie though. All in all, one of the better movies I have rented in a while though.

Decent movie, but I HATED the ending. Yes I saw it coming, but I still hated it.

I thought it was decent, but it kind of dragged in places. Based on the trailers I was expecting a more condensed film rather than it spanning months

It was almost impossible not to see it coming. They telegraphed it with the captain's drunken speech to those marines at the wedding.

If they hadn't of spanned it over a few months the amount of crazy calls they were getting would have been ridiculous. It was pretty nuts as it was, but considering they were dealing with a Mexican Drug Cartel on most of these calls it kept it within the realm of possibility for me considering how these two kept sticking there nose in everything. To me the movie seemed to say something about how we always feel cops don't do exactly what these 2 guys were doing in terms of getting involved and putting themselves at risk and ultimately what happened to them because of that.

I liked it a lot.

Wasn't a fan of how it ended either

I really enjoyed it. Although the ending was telegraphed it was still really emotional. The two cops had a real genuine friendship and the movie made you appreciate that

Bought the Blu-ray without watching it. Really liked it, but it seemed as if the ending was accelerated. I could've done without the love story and more on the cartels.

Good flick. Lot of direction changes.

Warm and fuzzy bromance story then bam....twisted criminal shite

Awww shucks love story then bam.....bloody shootout

I liked it which is saying something because I think JG is a douche

I loved the movie and am a huge fan of Michael Pena and am looking forward to future roles. I know its a movie and all but when Zavala was getting lit the F up wouldnt some of those bullets hit Taylor as well? would have been more believable if they both have died but hey its a movie and is expected.

I was entertained, but I, too, was not a fan of the ending.

Thought I was going to hate it due to the format and subject matter.

But it was a very entertaining movie...and that's enough.

Intense movie. Really enjoyed it. Gyllenhaal is always good and Pena is very underrated.

After the gangbangers executed Zavala they were so shitty and so smug about it...the film did a good job of them having a "oh shite" moment before L.A.P.D. took them down.

Just watched this. Loved the movie, really did.

Ending was unfortunate, but that's what the title of the movies about so I knew one of the was going to bite the bullet.

I wish we cold have a second one where all the cartel is murked.

That won't happen of course. Good movie. Recommend watching it.
