What say the OB about this hull? Comes w/2010 150 Yamaha, still under warranty. With 2012 trailer, not a ton of extras. Asking price $22K....

thanks
Update: Boat was a stolen recovery, owner put the newer power on it. Also, console is not original so, I will most likely not be looking any further into this rig....

Find out reason why original motor was replaced. If owner tore up a 2005 motor, then he probably didn't take much better care of the hull of the boat.
Also, being a 2005 hull, it could be a Katrina boat where the motor filled up w saltwater. If the hull sat in water for a long time, it could be rotten also.

Boat is actually in Miami. I am looking to get a boat for use in the lower Keys. I agree though with asking about why the motor replacement.

And as others said, I do need more info. Hopefully can update later...

Alright somebody who has some good taste in boats
Could be very under powered unless it is the z2000. Can we get some more info?

Sorry a little late. Just post more info when you can. Great boats though.

Well....that is about it. I will try to get more info. Saw it on Craigslist, didn't seem to be too much out of $$ range, considering others I've seen. On the Hull Truth, some are saying it is a wet ride in chop. Don't know, but pretty much everything I've fished out of was "wet" in chop, say 1-3' and rougher in shallow bay conditions.

05 Yamaha HDPI go boom. That would be my guess.

Good deals to be had down there on come quality used rigs. You need to get in whatever you look at buying and check your wiring in helm and look for rust on motor components. I've gotten two demos from down there and thats were the problems originated. Water is hypersaline compared to LA.

Thanks Capt. Good advice. With the wiring, is that with any rig you've seen? Not just Shearwater brand?

thanks

I bought mine in south florida from a dealer in lake placid, fl. We even went to factory to check out how they are made and what not. Any shallow water bay boat is wet in rough chop, especially these and others that ride on pad. They have trim tabs to help get up and ride on top of waves just not big ones.

Its all of them. Some do better jobs with protecting the wiring than others, but most of it comes from owner neglect. Not much you can do about it but try and slow it down. Corrosion X is your friend.

In between lifts . I want these cranes gone ASAP. Deep South owner has much bigger boat than my owner.

The Ark that Marathon built? Several firms bought boats off that project. Deep South being one also.
