Calling to tell him that Zoe was breaking the story about Frank and his setup of that congressman etc.
She became a bitch cause she be a bitch. I think she really just lost the feeling of being special to Frank so now she's out for Number 1

But yeah, while the Russo killing was an intense moment, he was the only other great character besides Frank.

Of course. Did you miss that whole conversation between him and Doug about setting the whole thing up in the office? Doug says there will be no coming back from this. Frank says he knows, but tells Doug to keep an eye on Russo (to make sure he gets back on his feet, but we all know how that ended, which tells me Russo forced Frank's hand with his whole "I want to come clean" saga). Doug then asks for $3000 to set up the hooker/waitress at the party that Peter goes to the night before the interview. Frank then says it will be in his drawer the next morning.

She's doing her job. If something like that actually happened, it would make every other Washington scandal look like child's play. Orders of magnitude bigger than watergate, lewinsky, etc. You think that a reporter getting the scoop on one of the biggest scandals ever and pursuing it makes her a bitch?
