Does anyone here really think Rhymes should be hitting clean up?

I think its fine, but we need better production from the lead-off guy. If not, I'd lead with Laird, and move everyone down a spot.

I'm fine with it. He, Laird, and Bregman reach base a lot so it gives Katz an opportunity to produce more RBI

the lineup is more than fine as it is. Rhymes is batting near .400 and he is 2nd on the team in RBI's. How do you move Katz when he has 22 RBI's in the 5 hole and leads the team?

Always thought this but no one has ever said anything. Rhymes is a very clutch hitter, so that'd be a reason to keep him at 4. id go:

I just think the power hitter should be in the clean up. Rhymes isn't a power hitter. Those are good numbers so I can't really argue that. Just something that's been on my mind.

Agree, better argument for Katz as clean-up. Bregman looks to be a Clutch guy, and I'd put him , or Rhymes, at the 3 spot, and would not lose sleep. With these bats, things have kind of changed, so I see what Maneri's doing, and what he's got going is great, just need the lead-off guy to start getting hot....

I like the lineup how it is. However, if Sciambra doesn't get it together soon, I wouldn't mind moving him to the 9 hole and moving everyone up one spot.
