One of my favorites as a kid, finally caught it on cable tonight.

Didn't remember Sean Connery being in this, but I probably didn't really know who he was the last time I watched this.

I really need to do a Terry Gilliam marathon sometime.

Time Bandits, Brazil, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen

Greatest trilogy ever that isn't really a trilogy but the director says it is!!!

Must have been you that got me thinking about it. Pleasantly surprised to come across it tonight.

It makes sense you would walk out of it.

So you're not just grumpy, you're grump and old. Makes sense.

You disappoint me Myth. There must be something you hate about it at least a little.

Well, it is Terry Gilliam; Brazil had a similar ending and I love them both.

People forget about The Fisher King which is a good Gilliam movie as well. The studio forced the ending to that one so Gilliam took a nice ironic poke at them as the movie was ending.

It's a damn shame that Man of La Mancha got scrapped. The documentary "Lost in La Mancha" is worth a watch for any Terry Gilliam fan.

Vincent: Oh no. The problem. The problem, Pansy! It's started again!
Pansy: Oh! Oh, don't worry, darling!
Vincent: Ohhh... ohhh...
Pansy: I say!
Vincent: I must have fruit!

That bit didn't work for me.

I wonder what she was about to say when she got cut off at "I have an enormous..."

Regarding the Fisher King, I think I was too young when I saw it in middle school or high school and just found it bizarre and depressing. Need to try it on again.

Good. I was starting to worry. I thought your next post was going to be either calling SGU the best of the Stargate series or Terra Nova the best dinosaur show ever.
