| "New to bow hunting" 5 pin sight vs 3 pin? (Posted on 3/8/13 at 10:31 am)
I've got a spot hog 5 pin, that I like. Do u need 5 pins, I've only used the top 3. A more open sight, might be better. What's the all knowing season vets of the outdoor board think? Y'all was such a big help with said purchase of bow.

That's what I was thinking, 5 pins a bit busy. I like the spot hog, only sight I've used tho. Buddy uses a single pin. I don't think I want to be making adjustments when the first deer, buck or doe, walks out. Pretty sure at that point ill be crapping my camo's.

Keep it simple, stay with 3 pins. More pins, more chance for error and confusion.
