There's also bands like tyr borknagar ajattara korpiklaani thyrfing and falconer just to name off the top of my head. Folk metal incorporates culture so it all depends on what elements you are looking for.

I know what an oxymoron is. Don't insult my intelligence. If you can't see the beauty in folk metal then go somewhere else. There's nothing contradictory about the term whatsoever.
