Grand isle this weekend

Taking first trip of the year this weekend. If the weather is ok we are planning on going offshore possible for aj or on out for tuna. What can I expect ?

I'm not that big of an offshore fisherman. No gulf in mer rouge, la.

Another question. I've always found it fun to go out to those rigs that are like 10 miles out and can mangroves. I've heard this is a bad time because the water isn't dirty enough? What's up with that

And thanks guys

I'm great with questions on duck hunting timber and farming corn if anyone wants to trade me some offshore knowledge

I'd go out and drag for wahoo and pick up my AJs around one of the rigs you're pulling around. Bite has been good when you can get out.
