TWIC office in Baton Rouge (Posted on 3/4/13 at 3:22 pm)
This place makes the DMV look like a Jimmy John's drive through. I just need to pick up my new card and I refuse to stand in line for half of my day. Any Advice? What time do they open?

The one in St. Rose/Kenner is also worse than the DMV. I had an appointment and waited over an hour and a half beyond my scheduled appointment.
And when I was called and going through it I was told "I know you're a good person, most of the people who come through here know how to give fingerprints and you didn't know what you're doing."
I mean this 100% I'd rather go to the DMV than TWIC enrollment center.

No way around it, Brody. They open at 7:00AM and if you get there at 7, the line is already huge. Best bet is not to plan around it and just stick it out one time.

I have to renew mine soon also, and I was told by our safety man that the one in Baton Rouge is currently requiring appointments. A coworker went the one in Laplace got their when it opened and was out in 30 minutes.
