Watched most of the first episode last night and was not impressed. The series has potential for being interesting but I found the acting wanting.

Check Exodus when Moses goes up on Mt Sinai. God placed his hand over the cleft in the mountain and allowed Moses to see his glory as he passed.

Yeah. Be fair to CTF, that part isn't in the Catechism.

He's really gonna flip his shite when they show Mary and Joseph getting it on after the birth of Jesus.

I usually don't watch these type shows on the History Chanel because they aren't theologically accurate

There'll be enough truth in there to fool the masses

Yes I would go to the book first

The book is always way more better than the movie.

Thoughts on the show:

1. I didn't like they completely jumped over Jacob. That's like the beginning of Israel. His story is so important. Then of course they completely excluded Joseph.

2. Moses looked queer in that Egyptian getup.

3. They made vague references to the reason why Sodom was destroyed. In scripture, the Lord just said "their sin is very grevious". Then of course, the men tried to rape the angels but it wasn't like they escaped under the cover of night. They actually left the next day after Lot tried to warn his kin folk.

4. They should just call it "Stories of the Bible" because the way they skip around and leave things out, it's quite disappointing.

Yea I was surprised they skipped over this, especially considering how interesting the Joseph part of the story would be to those who aren't as familiar
