| Darkest Beatles lyrics? (Posted on 3/2/13 at 11:27 am)
Run For Your Life has to be up there, right?
quote:
Well you know that I'm a wicked guy And I was born with a jealous mind And I can't spend my whole life Trying just to make you toe the line You better run for your life if you can, little girl Hide your head in the sand little girl Catch you with another man That's the end'a little girl Let this be a sermon I mean everything I've said Baby, I'm determined And I'd rather see you dead You better run for your life if you can, little girl Hide your head in the sand little girl Catch you with another man That's the end'a little girl I'd rather see you dead, little girl Than to be with another man You better keep your head, little girl Or you won't know where I am

There's also a fade-out of one particular song where John mumbles "I buried Paul" Can't remember which song though

I would vote for "I'm So Tired", but among the songs that haven't been mentioned: "Maxwell's Silver Hammer"

I imagine that everybody has one since musical taste is subjective. For many years mine was "Octopus' Garden", but I kinda like it now.

quote:
In the "Paul is Dead" hoax these were taken to be Lennon saying "I buried Paul."[45] In 1974, McCartney said, "That wasn't 'I buried Paul' at all—that was John saying 'cranberry sauce'. It was the end of Strawberry Fields. That's John's humour. John would say something totally out of sync, like cranberry sauce. If you don't realise that John's apt to say cranberry sauce when he feels like it, then you start to hear a funny little word there, and you think, 'Aha!'".[46]
It was "Strawberry Fields Forever". Around the :16 mark

My favorite part in any Beatles song is when everyone stops singing and they allow a better guitarist show them how to shred in While My Guitar Gently Weeps.
