Where to "Legally Catch Snapper" March 23

Other than Venice, is there anywhere else that you can catch snapper 3 miles out? For that matter, is there any place where you can catch them 10 miles out other than Venice. Generally run 25 out of cocodrie/Fourchon.
It will certainly be interesting to see how federal agents enforce the law. About how much would the federal fine be for 12 snapper in the boat?

Good point, just figured there maybe a few generous soles out there. Its not like there aren't enough to go around.

Your probably right. Guess i'll just have to head down the river or hold my horses till June 1st and fish the ridiculousy short Federal season. Getting stopped by the feds would suck.
