Calm down good people.
The purpose of this suggestion is to be able to see how many pics are are in a thread. That's the no shite version. In reality this would allow some people, particularly who are using mobile version of TD, to be able to gauge if the thread will bog down their connection. .gifs are awesome but you can't enjoy them, or any thread for that matter, when it takes a good while to load..
The counter to my previous statement, the suggest page modification will advertise a threads popularity, besides page views. When a lot of pictures or .gifs are posted I love to go into that thread thinking I'm about to see something funny that I've never seen before. By having a picture/.gif/ multimedia count, I'm more incline to enter that thread.
I was aware of possible rejection when I posted.
