time to sort out the fray, put a % you think they are available at #15 and your thoughts. Mine:

Damontre Moore- he went in looking more likely gone and comes out looking like available without a doubt. NFL teams must begin to decide whether he's a poor athlete with limited upside or a Terrell Suggs type of defender who does not test well but plays lights out. Doubt his 3-4 fit at all
acknowledges disappointment
Bjoern Werner- 75%, didn't impress as special, confirmed that he is 4-3DE only, not a Saints option IMO
Werner 40
Jarvis Jones- 50%, sounds like more teams have taken him off their boards than those keeping him. The sterling performances of the other 3-4 players could fill all the seekers of these guys spots before #15. Top 5 talent strangely seems much more likely being a Saints possibility. They've taken medical risks like Brees, Romeus, and Toon. Jones looks like a great hope for us. Pro Day will be huge
lame sounding explanation of not working out
Mingo- 33%, shined but definitely needs to fill out, % this high cuz other pass rushers could fill the needy spots before #15
Mingo's Draft Journey
Dion Jordan- 10% potential factor pushed even higher, top 3-4OLB taken IMO
40yd with commentary
Ziggy Ansah- 5% He elevates to the pot of gold that GMs are willing to take a risk on
discussion on his readiness

My takeaway: there's only so many pass rushers that will be taken before #15. Good shot at a prized pass rusher still being available for the Saints.

Great analysis. I'm sure a fair share of peeps will disagree but I think this seems pretty reasonable overall.. Kind of sucks that the 4-3 talent may fall and the 3-4 guys could potentially see some rise

I don't see how jarvis jones is a fit at OLB in a 34 D.... He's the prototype outside 43 backer.

Agreed. I think you guys will draft Ziggy Ansah - it'll be a big pickup for y'all.

you need to read more scouting reports then

I didn't do a dedicated thread of scouting reports on him earlier cuz I thought the chance of him being available too remote. Will get on that.

There's no way Jarvis Jones drops to #15. Well, there is a way, I just don't see it.

My order would be:

Ziggy Ansah
Barkevious Mingo
Dion Jordan
Jarvis Jones

i hearh lots of people at the combine reiterate the same thoughts. He's too small for the outside backer in the 34 IMO. I don't care what your dedicated thread said.

This is really what Im thinking now as well. As many as 3 OTs could go before 15, a WR, and hopefully a few QBs. There's got I be someone who falls.

I think our main pass rushing competition is Jax, Detroit, Jets. I think whoever gets past the Jets at 11 (I think) will be our guy

Jarvis jones' biggest attribute is his pass rush. He is very similar to Von miller IMO! Maybe not quite as talented tho. Miller is an OLB in 4-3 but moves to DE in 3rd downs or passing situation.. Wouldn't have much trouble playing 3-4 OLB imo

Jones' stock diminishes significantly if he can't play 3-4 OLB. His best asset is rushing the passer, it's all he did at Georgia. If you take him off the LOS and play him at SAM or WILL in a 4-3 you have a fringe 1st round talent IMO.

The 4-3 OLB might be the least valuable position in any defensive scheme. I personally think he absolutely can play OLB in the 3-4, but that's just my opinion.

Mingo > Jordan... Athletically they're about the same w Jordan being longer but Mingo has played w the big boys in the SEC.

Its hard to think of many Outside pass rushing specialist linebackers in a 3-4 in the NFL SHORTER than 6'3.

Elvis Dumervil has played both OLB/DE at like 5'11" or something close to that

And of course that means he'll automatically be the better player in the pros.

not a terrible example but he's one of the reasons they stay in a 4-3 though.

I think it really hinges on Jarvis Joness pro day!If it is remotely close to Jordan and Mingo's combine then I think if a teams doctor clears him he will go top 10. I beleive Ansah and Jordan will go before 15 which means Mingo will be ours to take, which i like. just hope his run defense can improve.

It means that he had to defend the run on a consistent basis, and use more than just his athleticism to make plays

He excelled at it in a big way in college.
14.5 sacks last year, 13.5 the year before.
He had 7 sacks int he last two year against Florida alone. 2 against Alabama in the SEC Championship game.
