For my money, the whole fake girlfriend dying thing were it not found out would have accomplished two things: (1)tugged the heartstrings of certain Heisman voters thus improving his chances at the award, which by the way he would have won if not for the emergence of JFF and (2) covered up the likelihood he is gay.

Sure, teams want to know if he is or isn't. But would you care to take a guess as to how many teams will ask him that in an interview?

The dude is VERY religious. Remember when it was a big question whether or not he was going to do his 2 years of service to the church before college? I don't think he's gay. I think he's been very sheltered and his coaches at ND helped that to continue for fear of his parents pulling him out of school if he did anything they considered to be wrong.

And spent the last 4 years as the biggest man on a college campus. Seems like hed experience a little while hes out there
