...will really help us out this year in recruiting. So many good defensive back recruits this year, and so many of them want to go to LSU. I'm glad those two spots are left open. Here's to a bright future in our secondary

Yeah but we could have REALLY used some depth at safety for next season.

Yeah, it helps, but only like not signing a RB this year. Won't really know until they produce, but I get what the OP is saying.

We are set for 2013 at safety with Loston, Martin, Sandolph, Eugene, and the best athlete on the team as per the players, Thompson!!!! we also could use Thomas,Raymond, or Jefferson some this year at safety!!! we will be fine!!

Meh, I understand the silver lining sentiment but you get who you can get, when you can get them, as a rule. Still would've been pretty nice to get Priest and TG, and we likely still would've pulled Tony Brown and Paris at the least. And yeah, I do think TB is an LSU lock. I know, going out on a limb.
What we have brewing with LF is an exception, and I'm on board with it. In general you get elite athletes when you can.
