Last season we went 21-45, giving us a .318 winning percentage. We are currently 20-37, requiring us to go 6-19 over the remaining 25 games. If this happens we will match last years futility, which I have to believe no one will be pleased with. How many of the remaining 25 games do we need to win for you to be pleased with this teams progress. (i.e. to meet your wins prediction from the beginning of the season.)

With Gordon playing the team is 11-10 which would equate to a 43-39 season, or in line with most people's thinking that they would be a borderline playoff team with Gordon.

I'd like to see the team stay around .500 with Gordon playing, but what I'm really looking for is continued signs of improvement from Gordon, Davis and Rivers.

Don't care, just want to watch improvement from AD/AR and see EG on the court as much as possible

I don't like seeing the Pelicans lose, but if you're not going to make the playoffs and you're rebuilding, what's the incentive to win down the stretch?

Last year at this time I was all aboard the tank, but with this weak draft class, I'd much rather see individual improvement especially from AD, AR, and EG.

Would like to see them get 30+ wins. This would give the team some confidence going forward into the following season, and would help to develop the youth on this team.

6 more wins, the O/U in Vegas was 25. Seems like they knew something.

Rookie playing time and development is the most important thing for the rest of this season...If wins come with it, so be it.

I think this is overrated, especially in the league...I could be wrong, jmo.

I really think this team ends the season with 27 wins. If Gordon finishes the season there's no reason they can't win at least 5.

I think we get to 30-33 wins which is about what I expected.

If EG/AD played all year we'd have close to 30 right now imo

So you're expecting the Hornets to win almost half of their remaining games? That's some high expectations with this group. 7-8 is more realistic IMO.

I've said all season the Hornets and LSU men's basketball are just one season away from post-season play. That's why I didn't have my hopes too high this season. Which is why I thought 26+ wins is capable.

Ugh

I really hate that this shitty fricking attitude is so ingrained into this boards psyche

frick that

You play to win. Period.

To go 10-15 over the remaning 25? I'd say it's very possible. They've been playing near .500 ball for a pretty good span.

They have at least 7-8 winnable games left.

Then you have the Lakers, Mavs, Grizz, Brooklyn, Golden State, and Clippers twice. Throw in OKC, Miami, Jazz and Denver. Do you really see another 6-7 wins out of those?

Throw in EG not playing on back to back nights and potential injuries as well.
