I was fishing free range bass in St. Francisville for 2 days and only caught 2 fish.

I wouldn't call Lake Rosemound free range since it is private. When conditions are decent, you can hammer them there. Family has a place there. One of them caught a 6-3 and a 5-9 on consecutive days earlier this month. There have been quite a few over 10 caught there over the years.

I go out there a good bit and have caught a few in that size range. But holy shite, some of the assholes that run around that place and bitch just to bitch can DIAF. It's really sad that some old men have nothing better to do with their time. It only takes a couple to give a place a bad reputation, and I think Rosemound is one of the worst places I've been to.

We get in trouble all the time by the "ski patrol". Last year, had some lady screaming at me cause the water was too high in her opinion to be wakeboarding. There have been multiple attempts to turn it into catch and release only. Luckily, cooler heads have prevailed. Retired people with money have nothing better to do but be controlling.
