At junior day. Stud safety Deionte Thompson from Orange,TX committed to bama. Would love to see the LSU coaches try to flip this guy, especially since he lives on the Louisiana border and closer to LSU than any other school. His highlights are quite impressive.

I'm sure we will get on him pretty hard, soon. Looks the part, but there is a long time between now and when he will sign.
Meanwhile, I think the staff is really focused on 2014 at safety with Paris, Jones, Simmons; and keeping Voorhies aboard. Don't forget the kid up in Texarkana as well that's committed to Baylot(I'm forgetting his name right now).

I love all of those guys, but I like Thompson at safety every bit as much. Adam Henry is from Beaumont, so I was hoping we could dominate that area, especially with us being closer than the Texas schools.
