I'm not a huge MM fan, but Float On never leaves my ipod.

This and just the entire Good News album is what turned me onto indie and "better" music when I was in like 7th or 8th grade. Will always be sentimental to that song.

Cowboy Dan
Bury me with it
The View
Bukowski
the stars are projectors
Alone down there
The Air

A band I truly wish I had gotten around to seeing.

quote:

Well, Cowboy Dan's a major player in the cowboy scene
He goes to the reservation drinks and gets mean
He drove the desert, fired his rifle in the sky
And says, "God if I have to die you will have to die"

They come to NOLA I am there. Otherwise it would take some unusual circumstance to travel and see them.

I love Brock Isaac, great lyricist

The only way I can describe his lyrics is snarky. Always witty stuff.

His voice is Tom Waits mixed with a barking dog with a lisp.
