Not easy to get unless you have a brick and mortar store...

I think Clinton and the ATF really cut down on that in the 90's...

I don't mean for this to sound silly, but does it have to be a sporting goods store? The guy next to me has a FFL and his business has nothing to do with guns. I think he's had his awhile though.

most are already grandfathered in... my neighbors use their houses and just go pick up at ups or wherever then the notice gets stuck on door... that wont work anymore..

i haven't researched the new law,, just goin by what the 3 people in my little hood have told me,,,,, that there has to be a "store front" now.. since he has an "in", maybe there is some kind of loophole

Not true.

My neighbor has a web site and sells from his house in a neighborhood. Had to have the local sheriff sign off on it. Application process was complex.

ATF site

License fee is $200. Like other have said you don't need a B&M you just need to be able to have a business plan setup that shows how you are going to deliver guns. You can't do home delivery. You must get signoff from your local LEO. You can't live in a gun free zone.

I have my FFL an here it is. If you do the research get all your ducks in a row and your house is in a good location you can do it out your house. You can call the ATF they are very helpful. I do it out my house for S&Gs and have no problem. The ATF will come for an inspection before you are licensed.
