He was our most consistent player last year, and we trade him for a pack a number 2 pencils

I think I like your question but you are way too young to be posting this drunk.

We needed to clear his cap space to take on Lopez.

I rememebrr a Rumor was that he and EJ didn't get a along in Nola. Which is why I was surprised that the Warriors were thinking about making the trade.

Because we had to free up playing time for Rivers to tear the league up

it's a rebuild...why did we not re-sign west?

...we could have stayed with those guys and be stuck in mediocrity, or move on and try to achieve something great.

good players. great guys. no need to stick with good 30+ year olds in a rebuild when you're a lottery team...unless they're superstars.

All that stuff sounds so great

I'm just really not sure how much truth is there

I thought 100% after the year Jack had, and his favorable contract, that they would no doubt move him.

But, I didn't think they'd move him for literally nothing. Blah, blah freed up cap space to sign Lopez.

Jack was worth a pick in the 20s. Worst move Dell's made since he's been here - and that's a somewhat compliment to Dell

please enlighten me...we'd still be a bad team with much less financial flexibility.

make a point.

4 years, 20 million isn't a bad deal for someone who would be arguably the best 6th man in the league

there's my point

i don't disagree with you there....I thought moving on from him was a good move, but i was expecting more in return, too.

the whole thing is ridiculous, because the situation worked out great for us. Vasquez has been more than what anyone had hoped for.

Jack's a good player. Vasquez is better, especially all things considered. People overreacting to one bad shot. The ball slipped out of his hands.

it would be a great deal for a team looking to get over the hump....we're a lottery team in a rebuild.

4 years til he's 33...no thanks. It would be a good contract for a couple years and then hurt the team's ability to get better when they're ready to add the type of player we're talking about.

he would probably still be the starter if he was here....that would not be a good thing

it's definitely disappointing that we didn't get more from him, but trading him was the right move

Why would have keeping Jack took away anything from Vasquez? Both would have been starting the majority of the season and played big minutes. Jack's minutes have gone to Rivers, Mason and Roberts.

I don't know what you are considering. Cause he's younger, cheaper? They are a wash stats wise. We didn't gain anything by getting rid of Jack..

I know...you prefer Vasquez at the two

yep.

...Jack had a good season last year on a bad team. before that, he wasn't anything special.

It's good that Vasquez and Rivers are getting the minutes they're getting. Why would we want Jack taking time from them.
