I still like ol walt though, he's a tad old school for my taste.

Anyone that wouldn't want to follow the St. Louis model is a fricking fool.

I do like the way the Cards handle pitchers, I was worried when Duncan left that would be it. But they're bringing them along the right way. I guess that's more organizational than anything though, not really all to do with Duncan.

And they aren't afraid of college bats. You'll probably see Kolten Wong up in the majors at some point this season.

I'm done.

As much as I don't like the Reds, as long as Shane Victorino doesn't play for them, they won't be my least favorite team.

no aroldis chapman? he may have been a year or so later. if the dude can develop one more pitch he's the next clayton kershaw.

The Reds signed him in 2010, he spent most of that season in AAA then moved up in August and has pretty much been in The Show ever since.

he's one of the best closers in baseball but nobody knows if he'd be a good starter let alone a cy young caliber starter.

i am no more anxious to see him start than the red's organization. like i said, if he can develop one more pitch, they'll find someone else to close. and i'll bet they have given him more than one look at SP.
