Colin Cowherd just reported, via Chris Broussard, that the Celts are willing to shop Rondo.

I know that Rondo's name has been on the block seemingly for the last 3 years, but are the Celts overreacting to their ability to win w/o him so far this season?

Does this mean Chris Paul is going back to New Orleans?

@sam_amick: Agent for Rajon Rondo, Bill Duffy, tells USAT that Boston GM Danny Ainge assured him today the Celtics PG won't be traded. Story to come.

I guess it is just another case of Chris Broussard being Chris Broussard. He gets me everytime.

I'm pretty sure every player gets "assured" they won't be traded shortly before they get traded. GMs don't give a shite.

Danny Ainge has assured Rajon Rondo's agent that the Boston Celtics will not trade him.

Rondo has been linked to a possible trade in several reports.

Bill Duffy, Rondo's agent, spoke with Ainge on Wednesday.

Rondo is currently recovering from a torn ACL.

Was listening to Simmons a few days ago and he threw out the idea of a Rondo for Cousins package.

Sacramento/Seattle could get a star to build around, and Boston could get some bigs to make one more run at it this year.

Personally, I don't feel like Rondo is a guy you want to build around long-term in Boston.

They're 9-1 since Rondo went down. JS

They lost again last night.

Also, they aren't getting out of the first round in the east.
